Being a Spark snob, I probably won't buy these cars. With the exception of the driver, I think the new Bburago models are better. I only bought the Bburago because they were very inexpensive and the roll (it's the kid in me). Since the vast majority of my collection is Spark I have been shying away from other brands in Sports Cars and F1. Thanks for the introduction and appraisal but, Solido just don't move me.

The Mascott and Seagrave decals are better on the Mini Champs. Two separate decals as opposed to one on the Spark. Your camera does a great job in showing that. I have never seen that before despite other reviewers mentioning it. If I had 1000 hours of viewing, might see more differences.

I have a collection of about 250 Spark sports cars and about 100 others. Although TSM and Looksmart are as good if not better, I prefer Spark. Mini Champs in sports cars are not as good as Spark, and I have none. However, In F1 I think that Mini Champs are as good as Spark. The Mini Champs box and packaging are awful and cheap looking. The sticker on the jewel cover yes, mine have it as well is super annoying. I prefer to leave my cars on their bases and present them that way. I have found that removing a car is easy. Putting it back on the base is not and, more often than not results in damage the car (except with BBurago). Bottom line is that I will always pay a little bit more for Spark. If the base was not a consideration, it would be a toss-up. Love your sense of humor that you insert into your videos, cracks me up. I must be easily entertained.

I suspect these select 39.99 models are overstocks.

mini champs or burago, IMO both are great options, I feel like with time both diecast brands will go up in value. LMK what yall think

Solido has a 1/43 Mclaren MCL60 on the way as well, might be a nice alternative to Bburago. Although speaking of Bburago, definitely check out the new box sets at Costco if you haven't already seen them, whole bunch of new special liveries for McLaren/Ferrari/Red Bull/Mercedes.

I have the same problem woth my f1 redbull 1 wheel spins good, conserning good and the other one defenetly needs some wd-40. So I think its a common mistake from minichamps.

Would you consider the 1/24 premium collectible models? (Deagostini / altaya) I have quite a few and they have been replacing my 1/43 collection

Interesting that the solido model has the Sensors on the front wing endplates, something that not only bburago doesn't have, but even spark or minichamps

I heard that one of the reasons why he was kicked from F1 is that he was told to turn off his car during a race otherwise it would damage the engine be he refused

Had fun tracking these down the past few weeks. Been to 6 different Targets, and a few Walmarts, bought 11 different cars so far. Still looking for a couple others. I prefer the Target cars w/drivers helmet, and $2 cheaper than Walmart. These are great, for the price!

Starting collecting these a few weeks ago. (July, Aug, 2024) Walmart and Target carry them. $2 more at Walmart, nice acrylic display case, but no driver. I prefer the Target cars - $8.99 with driver helmets, but no display case. So far have 10 total. 5 different cars, 2 drivers each. Supposedly Alfa Romeo - Stake, and Aston Martin - cognizant also were made, but I haven't found them yet. Yeah, great deal! Love these for the price.

As a collector and reviewer, would love to see an in depth review of that Spark model with figuring. I have a 1/43 of Lewis Hamiltons 7th Championship with him sitting on the cockpit and 1/18 of Max doing the same on his. Have not received that one yet, as it is coming from a seller in Mexico and customs are probably tearing it apart looking for hidden immigrants.
